“Hate for Sale” dá nome ao novo disco da lendária banda

 

Membros do Hall da Fama do Rock n’ Roll e com mais de quatro décadas de estrada, a lendária banda anglo-americana The Pretenders volta punk em  “Hate For Sale”, faixa que dá nome ao primeiro disco do grupo em quatro anos e que será lançado em no dia 17 de julho. O novo single está disponível em todas as plataformas de streaming de música via BMG Brasil.

Apesar do nome da faixa, a banda garante que a inspiração não foi política. “Juro que essa música não é sobre Donald Trump, Boris Johnson ou Bolsonaro. Nenhuma das minhas músicas fala diretamente de política, em geral elas falam sobre ex-relacionamentos mesmo”, se diverte a guitarrista e vocalista Chrissie Hynde sobre o single.

 

Produzido pelo premiado Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur, The Cranberries e responsável por clássicos do Pretenders), “Hate For Sale” é o décimo primeiro álbum da banda e o primeiro a ser escrito em colaboração de Hynde com o guitarrista James Walbourne.

 

“Nós amamos punk e a faixa ‘Hate For Sale’ surgiu como um tributo para uma das bandas do gênero que mais nos inspiraram, o The Damned”, completa Hynde.

 

Primeiro álbum com a formação ao vivo do grupo, “Hate For Sale” já está disponível em pré-venda em https://pretenders.lnk.to/HateForSalePR. O single da faixa-título, além da já revelada “The Buzz” estão em todos os serviços de música digital.
