Duran Duran lança “FUTURE PAST”, 15° disco de estúdio

Na língua portuguesa, o futuro do pretérito é usado muitas vezes para expor inquietações e surpresas. Com 40 anos de estrada, inúmeros hits globais e nome marcado na história da música mundial, o Duran Duran se mantém como uma banda inquieta e sempre em busca de surpreender. Por isso, “FUTURE PAST” se torna um preciso nome para seu 15° disco de estúdio. Este é um lançamento BMG disponível em todas as plataformas de música.

O novo trabalho traz colaborações que ampliam o universo do Duran Duran. O lendário Giorgio Moroder e o conceituado Erol Alkan assinam a produção de faixas e Tove Lo, a banda japonesa  CHAI, Graham Coxon (Blur), Mark Ronson, Ivorian Doll e Mike Garson aparecem como participações especiais.

“Quando entramos em estúdio pela primeira vez, no final de 2018, eu estava tentando convencer os caras que tudo o que precisávamos fazer era escrever duas ou três faixas para um EP. Quatro dias depois, tínhamos a base de 25 canções muito fortes, que precisamos desenvolver com calma. Então aqui nós estamos, em 2021, com nosso 15º álbum de estúdio querendo se libertar”, comenta o vocalista Simon Le Bon.

 

 

Com trabalho gráfico assinado pelo trabalho do artista visual japonês Daisuke Yokota, “FUTURE PAST” está disponível em todas as plataformas de música digital.
