Simple Minds anuncia novo álbum de estúdio “Direction of the Heart”

Previsto para 21 de outubro, disco é antecipado pelo single “Vision Thing”

O Simple Minds anuncia o lançamento de “Direction of the Heart”, seu décimo oitavo álbum de estúdio, para o próximo dia 21 de outubro. Já em pré-venda, o disco é antecipado pelo single “Vision Thing”, uma celebração à vida composta por Jim Kerr como um tributo ao seu pai, falecido em 2019. Este é um lançamento BMG.

Formada por Jim Kerr (vocais), Charlie Burchill (guitarras, teclados), Gordy Goudie (violão), Ged Grimes (baixo), Cherisse Osei (bateria), Berenice Scott (teclados) e Sarah Brown (vocais), o Simple Minds faz, nessa nova faixa, uma ponte entre o passado e o presente da banda.

Pré-produzido por Kerr e Burchill na Sicília (Itália), o álbum foi gravado na Alemanha com produção adicional de Andy Wright (Massive Attack, Echo & The Bunnymen) e Gavin Goldberg (Simply Red, KT Tunstall) e conta com participação especial de Russell Mael (Sparks).

“Vision Thing” está disponível em todas as plataformas de música.
