O drama original da HBO THE IDOL estreia no domingo, 4 de junho, às 22h, na HBO Max e na HBO. Com cocriação de Sam Levinson (“Euphoria” da HBO), Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye e Reza Fahim, a produção reúne no elenco, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan e Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye. Os episódios também são protagonizados por Dan Levy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Nef, Jane Adams, Jennie Ruby Jane, Mike Dean, Moses Sumney, Rachel Sennott, Ramsey, Suzanna Son e Hank Azaria.

 

Após um colapso nervoso que desestabiliza a última turnê de Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp), ela está determinada a recuperar seu status como a maior e mais sexy estrela pop dos Estados Unidos. Sua paixão é reacendida por Tedros (Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye), um empresário de boate com um passado sórdido. Será que seu despertar romântico a levará para novas e gloriosas alturas ou para as profundezas mais sombrias de sua alma?

 

THE IDOL é uma série HBO, produzida em associação com a A24 e cocriada por Sam Levinson, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye e Reza Fahim.
