Ali Barter lança novo álbum Hello, I’m Doing My Best, sucessor do seu disco de estreia A Suitable Girl, de 2017. Hello, I’m Doing My Best trabalha sentimentos que muitos podem se identificar, ponto forte dos projetos da artista. Ouça aqui.

 

Desde seu single de estreia “Girlie Bits” até seu mais recente “Ur A Piece Of Shit”, Barter esbanja honestidade em suas doces canções pop, como um soco de confiança e vulnerabilidade comovente, de uma maneira singular. Em seu método, Barter explica: “Eu realmente me conecto à ideia de que você pode dizer algo realmente controverso, mas se você diz de uma maneira agradável, as pessoas têm mais probabilidade de ouvir”.



Desde que venceu a competição triple j Unearthed e lançou seu álbum de estreia Suitable Girl em 2017, a ex-integrante de coral tem recebido apoio da triple j, FBi Radio, The Australian, Rolling Stone e Tone Deaf.

 

Barter tem feito turnês incansavelmente, completando duas esgotadas como atração principal, incontáveis festivais e abriu para artistas como The Rubens, The War On Drugs, The Jezabels, Stevie Nicks, The Preatures, Chrissie Hynde e sua heroína pessoal, Liz Phair.
