Daft Punk anuncia versão estendida do álbum “Random Access Memories” em comemoração aos 10 anos do trabalho vencedor de cinco Grammys

Daft Punk, a dupla parisiense formada por Thomas Bangalter e Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, responsável por algumas das canções dance e pop mais populares já feitas, encerrou suas atividades oficialmente no dia 22 de fevereiro de 2021, em anuncio através de um vídeo de 8 minutos, intitulado “Epílogo”.

 

Agora, dois anos depois, eles anunciam o lançamento de uma edição estendida de aniversário do seu último álbum: “Random Access Memories 10th Anniversary Edition” será lançada no dia 12 de maio.

 

O ano de 2023 marca o 10º aniversário de “Random Access Memories”, o aclamado álbum de maior alcance da banda, com 5 prêmios Grammy e grandes sucessos globais, como “Get Lucky” (1B+ streams) e “Instant Crush” (800M+ streams). O álbum marcou uma nova abordagem criativa para Daft Punk, gravado ao longo de vários anos usando equipamento analógico em vez de digital, com colaborações inéditas e uma série de artistas importantes para o mundo da música, como Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards e Paul Williams.

 

Para a edição comemorativa, “Random Access Memories 10th Anniversary Edition”, o grupo revelará parte do íntimo processo criativo por trás do álbum: 35 minutos de músicas inéditas em 9 faixas. Esta edição expandida estará disponíve internacionalmente em vários formatos e, no Brasil, será disponibilizada nas plataformas de streaming e download. Além disso, o álbum original será disponibilizado pela primeira vez em Dolby Atmos.
