A banda Gorillaz disponibilizou nesta sexta-feira, 23/10, o seu novo projeto Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, em todas as plataformas digitais.

O álbum também será lançado em CD, vinil, cassete e edições Deluxe e Super Deluxe.

Entre as participações especiais do álbum, estão algumas estrelas como Elton John, St. Vincent, Beck e EARTHGANG, entre outros.

Com a banda formada pelos membros virtuais Noodle, 2D, Murdoc e Russel, o cantor Damon Albarn e o cartunista Jamie Hewlett, Song Machine chega com tudo.

Cada lançamento conta com uma música inédita, todas com colaborações, vídeos da gravação no Kong Studios juntamente com animações e também com o Machine Bitez – que se resume a uma rápida conversa entre os integrantes do grupo com os artistas que colaboraram nas faixas.

O Gorillaz já anunciou também que nos dias 12 e 13 de Dezembro acontecerá o Song Machine Live, uma transmissão ao vivo no LIVENow, em que numa mistura de efeitos visuais e performance ao vivo, a banda tocará pela primeira vez as músicas do novo trabalho. Tudo isso em três fusos horários diferentes.
