Johnny Monster lança single inédito; ouça “Getting Out”

Após o lançamento do single “Eu Sei Quem Eu Sou”, o cantor e compositor paulistano Johnny Monster lança “Getting Out”, que pertence ao seu próximo EP Abrigo Em Fase de Construção.

O novo single remete ao rock alternativo da década de 80, de bandas como The Cure e Jesus and Mary Chain, sem perder a sonoridade moderna que acompanha Johnny em todos os seus trabalhos. “Getting Out” traz uma forte carga emocional, abordando temas como “sair do armário”, se livrar de relacionamentos abusivos e superar relações que não nos servem mais.

 

Recentemente, Johnny Monster participou do projeto Uma Banda Por Dia, que visa divulgar uma banda independente nacional diariamente. Criado por Rodrigo e Madame Mim,  Uma Banda Por Dia apresenta Johnny, “figura lendária da cena alternativa paulistana”.

 

Em comemoração ao lançamento, Johnny Monster fará uma live hoje, 22, em seu Instagram, às 19h, apresentando um set especial.

 

Abrigo Em Fase de Construção será lançado dia 17 de julho, via ForMusic. O EP apresenta um personagem que está se reencontrando e reconectando, em busca de abrigo. O conteúdo lírico é um resgate às raízes, com pitadas de nostalgia e conforto.
