KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD LANÇA O TÃO AGUARDADO ÁLBUM “OMNIUM GATHERUM”

“Omnium Gatherum” é o primeiro álbum de estúdio de 2022 de King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, que chega nesta sexta (22) aos aplicativos de música. “Esta sessão de gravação foi significativa porque foi a primeira vez que todos os seis ‘Gizzards’ se reuniram depois de um tempo extraordinariamente longo em confinamento.

 

Significativa porque produziu a gravação de estúdio mais longa que já lançamos e ainda porque (acho) mudou a maneira como escrevemos e gravamos música – pelo menos por um tempo … Um ponto de virada. Acho que estamos entrando em nosso ‘período de jam’. É bom”, disse o vocalista Stu.

 

O disco é composto com 16 faixas, incluindo o já lançado single de 18 minutos “The Dripping Tap”. Concebido como um compêndio de músicas inéditas que nunca encontraram um lar nos álbuns anteriores do Gizzard, “Omnium Gatherum” virou uma bola de neve e logo o grupo continuou escrevendo e gravando novas músicas para o álbum.
