Lenine faz releitura inédita de “Where Do The Children Play?”, de Cat Stevens/Yusuf Slam, para projeto Girão Sessions

Lenine interpreta a emocionante releitura de “Where Do The Children Play?”, de Cat Stevens (hoje Yusuf Islam), do clássico álbum “Tea for the Tillerman”, de 1970. O single lançado na última sexta-feira, 22/01, faz parte do projeto Girão Sessions, que reúne músicos de primeira linha para regravações inusitadas e vídeos originais de sucessos da música mundial.

 

A música foi gravada à distância com Lenine nas vozes e os músicos Marcos Amorim (guitarras e violões), Nito Lima (violões), André Barion (teclado e programação) e Fabio Girão (baixo). “Tudo muito natural, rápido e deslizante”, diz Lenine, que teve sua voz gravada por Bruno Giorgi no Estúdio O Quarto.

 

A Produção Executiva é de Jerônymo Machado e Fabio Girão. O Girão Sessions já registrou gravações e releituras de artistas como Frejat, Alice Caymmi, Toni Garrido, MPB4, Zé Renato, entre outros.
