O SHOWTIME anunciou hoje que o novo documentário “THRILLER 40” fará sua estreia em streaming para assinantes da Paramount+ com o plano Paramount+ com SHOWTIME no sábado, 2 de dezembro às 20h (ET/PT). O longa também fará sua estreia internacional no dia 2 de dezembro na Paramount+ no Reino Unido, Austrália, Canadá, Itália, França, Alemanha, Suíça, Áustria, América Latina e Coreia do Sul e na MTV internacional.

Quarenta anos após o lançamento de “Thriller” de Michael Jackson – o álbum mais vendido de todos os tempos em todo o mundo – o diretor Nelson George leva os fãs de volta no tempo para vivenciar a produção do álbum recordista e do lançamento dos curtas-metragens que redefiniram para sempre o formato de videoclipe. Apresentando imagens inéditas e entrevistas exclusivas, o documentário “THRILLER 40”, narra a criação de um fenômeno global pré-Internet, diferente de tudo. “Thriller” lançou Michael Jackson ao mega-estrelato e até hoje continua a influenciar todos os aspectos da cultura e do entretenimento, incluindo os mundos da música, dança e moda. Além disso, grandes estrelas como Usher, Mary J. Blige, Will.I.Am, Mark Ronson, Misty Copeland, Maxwell e John Landis são apresentados no documentário.

“THRILLER 40” foi produzido pela Optimum Productions e Company Name e seus Produtores foram Colin Hanks, Sean Stuart, John Branca e John McClain.
