Spiritbox antecipa álbum com clipe e single “Hurt You”

“Eternal Blue” será lançado no dia 17/09 via Rise Records/BMG

 

Um dos principais novos nomes do metal e rock alternativo, a banda canadense Spiritbox explora os amores destrutivos e relações tóxicas em “Hurt You”, seu novo single e clipe. A faixa, que ganha um vídeo inspirado em filmes de terror psicológico, antecipa “Eternal Blue”, seu aguardado disco de estreia.

Formada por Courtney LaPlante (vocais), Mike Stringer (guitarras) e Bill Crook (baixo), a banda une metal, post-metal, alternativo e progressivo em suas músicas. Com dois EPs na sua discografia (“Spiritbox” de 2017 e “Singles Collection” de 2019) e se descrevendo como um coletivo de artes e não só como uma banda, eles buscam trazer questões pertinentes como a saúde mental para suas músicas.

 

Da melancolia à loucura, da desesperança à redenção, Spiritbox é uma extensão completa de seus criadores. As faixas já abordaram abertamente a luta contra a depressão de Courtney ou até doenças degenerativas de familiares, como no recente single “Constance”.

 

Com o hit “Holy Roller” e o single “Circle With Me”, “Eternal Blue” será lançado no dia 17/09 via Rise Records/BMG. “Hurt You” está disponível em todos os serviços de streaming de música.
