Videoclipe “The Rebel Sound” mostra força de nova fase da Armada

A Armada lançou recentemente o videoclipe da faixa “The Rebel Sound”, dirigido pelo também baixista, Mauro Tracco. Formada por ex-integrantes do Blind Pigs, a banda se propõe a ser mais que um grupo de punk rock, e tem se arriscado musicalmente desde o primeiro disco, “Bandeira Negra”, lançado em 2018 com as participações inusitadas de Sérgio Reis e Kiko Zambianchi.

Em constante transformação, a Armada lançou ainda dois EPs – “Armada” (2017) e “Ditadura Assassina” (2020), e até então, só havia gravado em português. A faixa em inglês “The Rebel Sound”, apareceu pela primeira vez em dezembro de 2020 na edição especial da coletânea “Oi! This is Streetpunk!”, dos selos americanos Pirates Press Records e LSM Vinyl, ao lado das melhores bandas do estilo na cena mundial.

 

“The Rebel Sound” é uma homenagem à banda canadense Forgotten Rebels, responsável por fazer o, hoje, vocalista da Armada, Henrike Baliú, montar o Blind Pigs. Quem acompanha o trabalho do vocalista, sabe da sua admiração declarada ao grupo. “Sempre quis homenagear os rebeldes esquecidos em uma letra e pintou a oportunidade nessa música do nosso guitarrista, Alexandre Galindo”, diz Henrike.

 

 

O videoclipe apresenta uma Armada sólida, segura de si e pronta para uma nova mutação, mas deixando sempre claro que de punk rock entende muito bem. E Mauro Tracco revela que o conceito não cabe só à música. “Desde que vimos a Cervejaria Tarantino pela primeira vez, quisemos gravar um clipe lá, no meio daqueles tanques gigantes e equipamentos cromados. Apareceu a oportunidade e demos um jeito, mesmo sem estrutura. Montamos uma equipe de amigos, conseguimos material emprestado e rodamos tudo a toque de caixa. Por causa da pandemia, gravamos separadamente cada integrante da banda, o que acabou sendo legal para explorar diferentes cenários dentro da fábrica”, conta o baixista e diretor do videoclipe.
