“Escrevi essa música porque Jesus é seguido por traidores. Escrevi porque as idéias de Darwin estão servindo ao propósito de nos colocarmos uns contra os outros, porque acredito que a liberdade não decorre da independência, separação ou desconexão como sugerem os dicionários, mas sim do reconhecimento da nossa interdependência, porque liberdade é fazer parte. Escrevi esta canção porque a esperança não é suficiente. Escrevi depois de esbarrar em um verbete de um dicionário latino: Noster Nostri – 1: Nosso. 2: Nossos corações batem como um só. 3: Aquele nosso velho sonho. “.
