Sigala anuncia o lançamento de seu álbum de estreia, “Brighter Days”, em 28 de setembro

O DJ e produtor britânico Sigala anunciou o lançamento de seu álbum de estreia, “Brighter Days”, para o dia 28 de setembro, via Ministry of Sound.

 

O disco incluirá o single “Came For Here For Love”, com participação da cantora Ella Eyre; o hit “Lullaby”, com Paloma Faith; além de “Give Me Your Love”, com a colaboração do cantor John Newman e do guitarrista Nile Rodgers e a versão do produtor para o sucesso “Easy Love”, do extinto Jackson 5.

 

O produtor recentemente alcançou o marco de um bilhão de streams no Spotify. Entre eles, seu mais recente single, “Just Got Paid”, com as participações das cantoras Ella Eyre e Meghan Trainor e do rapper French Montana, ultrapassou três milhões de streams na plataforma em apenas uma semana de lançamento.

 

Até o momento, ele já teve sete singles no Top 10 do Reino Unido, oito singles de platina e oito singles de ouro. Sigala acumula mais de 575 mil plays de rádio no Reino Unido desde sua estreia em julho de 2015, incluindo seis sucessos no Top 10 e Top 1 com “Lullaby” – a faixa também foi o quarto maior hit de airplay na rádio britânica este ano, fazendo de Sigala um dos artistas britânicos mais consistentes dos últimos quatro anos no rádio.

 

O produtor falou sobre o novo álbum: “fui para a Bélgica em novembro passado por um mês para um estúdio na floresta, no meio do nada. Acho que vi umas três pessoas enquanto estava lá. Vi essa situação como uma oportunidade para experimentar”. Ele conta que o tempo longe das distrações de Londres lhe deu uma chance de diminuir a pressão de ter que entregar singles. “São músicas de que tenho muito orgulho e estou muito feliz de que elas possam ´ver a luz do dia´”, diz. “Se eu simplesmente continuasse lançando singles, isso nunca teria acontecido“.
