Warner Music anuncia “Moonage Daydream”, novo álbum de David Bowie

Projeto acompanha o aclamado filme de Brett Morgen, com versões inéditas, faixas ao vivo e mixes criados exclusivamente para a obra.

 

O primeiro single, “Modern Love (Moonage Daydream Mix)”, já está disponível nas plataformas digitais

 

 A Parlophone Records – distribuição nacional Warner Music Brasil –, tem o orgulho de anunciar o álbum que acompanha “MOONAGE DREAM”, filme de Brett Morgen aclamado pela crítica. O trabalho será lançado digitalmente no dia 16 de setembro e a versão em 2 CDs está prevista para chegar às lojas em 18 de novembro de 2023.

 

Chegando aos cinemas em setembro, “MOONAGE DAYDREAM” ilustra e ilumina a vida e a genialidade de David Bowie, um dos artistas mais prolíficos e influentes do nosso tempo. Contada através de filmagens sublimes e caleidoscópicas, performances, imagens e música inéditas, o filme de Brett Morgen (The Kid Stays in the Picture, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, Jane) apresenta uma longa odisseia cinematográfica, que explora a jornada criativa, musical e espiritual de David Bowie. A obra é guiada pela própria narração de David Bowie e é o primeiro filme oficialmente aprovado sobre o artista.

 

O álbum com a trilha sonora de “MOONAGE DAYDREAM” apresenta canções de toda a carreira de Bowie e inclui material inédito e mixagens únicas criadas para o filme junto com falas do próprio Bowie.

 

Os destaques incluem um medley ao vivo inédito de “The Jean Genie/ Love Me Do/ The Jean Genie” gravado ao vivo no último show de Ziggy Stardust no Hammersmith Odeon em 1973, com a participação de Jeff Beck na guitarra. Outras raridades incluem uma versão inicial do sempre favorito Hunky Dory “Quicksand” e uma versão ao vivo inédita do “Rock ‘n’ Roll With Me” da lendária “Soul Tour” de 1974.

 

A primeira faixa a ser lançada é “MODERN LOVE (MOONAGE DAYDREAM MIX)”, um dos maiores e mais amados sucessos mundiais de Bowie. Esta versão é um mix único que começa com o piano como instrumento principal da faixa e se desenvolve no refrão antes de terminar em backing vocals a capela, oferecendo uma visão sobre os elementos individuais que criam o clássico que todos nós conhecemos e amamos.
