Simply Red, uma das bandas mais queridas do Reino Unido, compartilha “Time”, um novo álbum que traz muita musicalidade e uma superprodução. São mais de 12 faixas cheias de vida, todas gravadas em Londres. Com o produtor de longa data, Andy Wright, “Time” demonstra sentimento e paixão por canções que movem a emoção e a imaginação. O novo projeto da banda, uma distribuição nacional Warner Music Brasil, que inclui o single “Better With You”, a continuação vibrante de “Just Like You”, e a favorita dos fãs, “Shades 22”, já está disponível em todas as plataformas de música.

 

“Time” já foi recebido com excelentes críticas na imprensa internacional. A Clash Magazine, revista britânica, classificou o projeto como um exemplo estelar de um álbum pop-soul muito bem elaborado. A Record Collector, outro veículo de renome no Reino Unido, afirmou que “Time” é indiscutivelmente, até hoje, o álbum mais pessoal do vocalista Mick Hunknall.

 

Com uma carreira de 12 álbuns de estúdio como Simply Red, dois álbuns solo, muitas premiações e nomeações, como o American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), na categoria “Músicas Mais Tocadas”, em 1987 e 1988, com “Holding Back The Years”, e dois Brit Awards consecutivos (1992 e 1993) na categoria “Melhor Grupo Britânico”, Mick está pronto para continuar o próximo capítulo. O artista carrega cerca de 60 milhões de álbuns vendidos, 1,7 bilhão de streams nas plataformas de streaming em todo o mundo e mais de 1 milhão de inscritos do YouTube.

 

Simply Red celebrará seu novo álbum com um show de lançamento muito especial no O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire de Londres no dia 5 de junho, que será transmitido ao vivo globalmente. Uma apresentação mais íntima na cidade, desde que tocou no mesmo local em 2005, e sua única apresentação no Reino Unido em 2023. Após uma agenda de sucesso em 2022, ano em que a banda realizou 73 shows para mais de 600 mil pessoas em toda a Europa, o grupo agora fará, novamente, uma série de apresentações por lá.
